I had a mate who was selling his, so I picked this up for quite cheap today. Still gotta move it home or somewhere. It blows white smoke after warming up, has a fresh turbo, needs a bit of TLC plus driver's front quater resprayed. Interior is in reasonable knick, but front seats could use some attention, digital dash, blue dashboard (Not a fan and wanna change it/cover it). Anyways, here's some pics.

Digital dash and manual is annoying.
Nice car otherwise, manual turbo's are rare enough.

Champagne Glow 2 tone 84 auto VG20ET import. Looks good... aand that's about it; project stock cruiser.
A toasty VG30ET with a bit of melted plastic stuck to the lower intake manifold.
White 84 N/A. Heart donor.
Nissan March turbo, born turbo, now carby with blown headgasket, low priority project.

Lol, those are two of the things I love about it. Specially the dash!

Well actually I went for a burn in it last night for the first time. And by burn I mean, I was burning off all the oil in the exhaust leaving plumes of white smoke behind me. lol. I kinda like the digital dash, and the manual was quite good, however synchros on 2nd didn't seem existent (do they even have them?).

I found the car quite endearing, and really like all the torque that is there in the mid range. It has quite the vibration from the drivetrain tho, so it seems I've got quite a few issues to work out, hopefully I can get it registered easily enough. (: Work will commence in a bit over a month's time.

Nice car really on the whole. The interrior looks mint, which Ive noticed a lot of Z31's are very clean on the inside, always seems the outside is what generally lets them down.

Don't get me wrong, I love the digital dash too, but I would rather digital dash on an auto, its not very quick to respond.
T5 gearbox should definitely have synchros on 2nd gear, tho they are the first to go. My 71C doesn't accept second gear at high rpm on a hot day, makes the same noise as if I tried to go into reverse.

Ok,

So I've started collecting bits, I dare say I've got quite a few to gather, mostly for roadworthy or to make the car comfortable for driving. First up, steering wheel boss to aid me in replacing the stock wheel, which is in poor condition with splits in it etc.

LOL. I just bought the same on from ebay last week. Let us know how well it fits. I doubt I'll be fitting mine any time soon.

Update:
Picked up some new rims + tyres for the zed. They're Z33/350z 17" rims, which are 7.5" wide at the front and 8" wide at the rear. They've been sprayed black with rattlecans. The tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1s 225/50/15 and I can't be stuffed checking whether the others are 230s or 220s.. One of the two ways. Will put up some pics with them on the car in a couple of weeks once they are put on the car.
