I read this thread at first thinking everyone here seemed 'anti skyline' or something, and must admit I'm still heavily into them, but I am a motoring enthusiast across the board, with a slight fetish for Nissan's but appreciate all makes and models on their merits...

But I do have to agree it seems the R32 and R33 have been excessively imported into the country, allowing some of the "lesser import enthusiast's" to easily obtain one and think its great to speed/hoon/skids etc in them. Probably a coo for the Z community in that all Z series have been sold here, so importing them looses that desirable factor somewhat... It only takes a few stupid people to ruin the import scene.

Yup. I always wanted an R32 GTS, but by the time I could afford one they were everywhere. And nearly all driven by P-Platers. I like driving around in a car that is different from the norm. Whether just rarer, or done up differently (my EB Falcon has a bodykit on it that I have never seen on any other car)

What the hell? Did you proof read your post, you don't say "I don't do anything on the street" and "it should be fun at the traffic lights" right next to each other dude.

Those little blue plates riveted to your car are great aren't they :D Keeps the cops off you when they see it and I think most of them appreciate the fact that your keeping it legal, unlike many cars I have seen around
